This tiny acrobat is a cosmopolitan traveler found in warm climates worldwide, often living in close proximity to human buildings and homes. Unlike more retiring cousins that hide in crevices, this jumping spider is openly curious and doesn't shy away from activity. These charismatic little hunters stalk and pounce with impressive accuracy, leaping at insects many times their own body size. Their enormous forward-facing eyes give them exceptional vision, allowing them to hunt purely by sight—no webs needed. Many people are charmed when they encounter these spiders indoors, and some even keep them as pets, appreciating their boldness and apparent curiosity about human companions.
