If you've spotted tiny moths dancing around your bathroom sink or drain pipe, you've met this unwelcome guest. These drain-dwelling flies thrive in moisture-rich plumbing environments worldwide, feeding on organic matter and biofilm that accumulates inside pipes and drains. Also known as bathroom moth flies, they're so common in urban and suburban settings that they've become an unfortunately familiar sight to anyone with plumbing. Their small size and rapid reproduction make them persistent visitors in humid spaces.
