These wingless crickets have adapted perfectly to indoor life, squeezing into the tiniest crevices and corners of buildings across the Mediterranean. They're incredibly good at hide-and-seekβ€”which is exactly their survival strategy. Unlike their musical cousins, they're mostly silent hunters, sneaking around at night searching for insects and plant matter. Their flattened bodies help them slip into impossible spaces where predators can't reach them. You might hear a tiny chirp occasionally, but these crickets are more about stealth than serenades.
