This tiny Australian scorpion measures just 25–40 millimeters—barely bigger than a grain of rice—yet it's a fierce hunter stalking insects among fallen logs and leaf litter in southeastern forests. Its brown coloration provides perfect camouflage in dappled woodland where it hunts under cover of darkness. Despite its diminutive size, it's an apex predator of the forest floor, showing how evolution can pack lethal hunting prowess into an impossibly small package.
