Tiny but memorable, this harvestman reaches just 4 to 6 millimeters in length, yet compensates with strikingly long, spindly legs that make it appear far larger. Its most distinctive feature is a pair of forked pedipalps (sensory appendages) that branch dramatically at the tips, giving it an almost extraterrestrial appearance. Sexual dimorphism is notable—males are darker and smaller, while females are lighter and more robust.
