These jumping spiders are visual hunters with enormous forward-facing eyes that see in color — giving them vision almost like a human's, which is unusually sophisticated for an arachnid. What they lack in speed they make up for in precision: they can rotate their vision without moving their heads and stalk prey with remarkable patience.

Their hunting strategy relies on getting incredibly close to prey before launching their attack with explosive jumping power that can cover 50 times their body length.
