Don't let its eye-catching beauty fool you—this bug is serious trouble for cabbage farmers. With brilliant red, orange, yellow, and white markings that serve as a warning to predators, it's one of nature's best-dressed pests. In tropical climates, this species can produce up to six generations per year, overwhelming crops with successive waves of damage. Look for the distinctive black-and-white striped eggs laid in neat clusters of twelve.
