This tiny North American moth is pure eye candy, dressed in a wooly body with pink and yellow coloration that ranges from cream white to hot pink. Here's the wild part: males have dramatically bushier antennae than females, and those fluffy sensors are specifically designed to detect female pheromones from far away. Imagine having antennae so sensitive you could smell a date from across a room. First described in 1793, it's been a historical favorite among moth enthusiasts.
