This remarkable moth is a true transcontinental traveler, spanning from the Atlantic coast of the Iberian Peninsula all the way east to the Urals and beyond into Asia. Its populations thrive across an incredible range of climates: from frigid North Fennoscandia in the north to the Mediterranean islands, Balkans, and Caucasus in the south. Proving that small size doesn't prevent success, this species has conquered one of the widest ranges of any European moth.
