This gloriously weird sphinx moth goes by so many names you'd think it had an identity crisis: tetrio sphinx, giant gray sphinx, frangipani hornwormβand locals in Martinique call it the Rasta caterpillar because its colors match Rastafarian clothing. The massive caterpillar devours plumeria trees across the tropical Americas, occasionally drifting as far north as the northeastern United States.
