The forest cockroach is a globe-trotter most people never notice. Thriving across Europe, Northern Asia, North America, and temperate Asia, it's one of the only cockroaches that actively prefers outdoor, cooler habitats over warm kitchens. While its relatives plot invasions of human homes, this species stays happily in the woodlands where it belongs.
