The name says it all: "little" is exactly what this dragonfly is, noticeably smaller than most of its relatives. This marsh hawk specializes in wetland habitats across South and Southeast Asia, from Bangladesh to Thailand, thriving where larger dragonflies struggle. Despite its diminutive stature, it's a perfectly engineered hunter for its muddy, shallow-water environment. Wetlands are its kingdom, and it rules them with surprising competence.
